Internal / external coating of steel pipes
 
The Sprayglass polyester and vinyl ester glass flake coatings have a proven track record for the internal lining / external painting of steel and cast iron pipework.
 
Many thousands of metres of new pipes for the power industry have been glass flake lined from new as well as existing pipework which has been reclaimed when the original lining / coating had reached the end of its service life.
 
Polyester glass flake is generally for sea water applications whilst the vinyl ester is used for chemical environments.
 
Sprayglass glass flake linings can be applied by brush, roller, spray or via pipe mole equipment.
 
For applications where the pipes are to be immersed the glass flake range of coatings offer long term protection.
